.
My mind is in a fog
and I seriously am crying
from the inside out,
shedding not a single tear…
Drowning in a single mirror
from the outside in
as I dangerously am contemplating
My heart’s remaining years

“Hold on”, You say… … “I’m trying… I really am”, she whispers

This was another deep emotional poem, still wandering in her subconcious to where she has gone lost…

I get this so completely, sometimes you just feel that what you do is never good enough for some people. I absoultely love the simplicity of it <3

Sometimes a few words can be more powerful than many. This is one of those times. I can so relate to “crying from the inside out, shedding not a single tear.” Peace, Linda
mmm… thanks Linda! It’s weird sometimes how one can relate to another. Peace to you too!

Gosh ! Your words just pulled me in, girl… So intense…so real!
Extremely and unbearably sad, but truly, the feeling couldn’t have been better expressed !!!
I have these thoughts many a times too
You hit a chord in my heart with this poem
So emotional, so painful and yet some truth
Beware the reflection, make sure its true, fore sometimes the reflection, is not really you. Wonderful write!
You’re going to get through this, L. I know!
(See reply to your comment on my blog and this poem: http://charleslmashburn.wordpress.com/2012/01/29/the-sun-on-my-face/ )
Sometimes the tears run out, the heart continues to wrench. Just gotta keep the courage to see what’s after the next step.
keeping courage is the key… it’s just hard when you lost your keys and can’t find them… it’s frustrating… and then you realize they’re right in your pocket the whole time…
Thanks for your comment! …it really got me thinking … in a good way;)

I really enjoyed this, very intense and quite raw. I know what its like to cry from the inside out, although it doesn’t happen that much thankfully.
Wow…that’s some incredible heavy stuff. But I am inspired by the way you weave in the video and poetry and music together. I have a music blog at http://forgottensongbook.wordpress.com/ that attempts to do something similar with music.
By the way…if you can please check out the PS22 Chorus. A kids choir from New York…they are simply amazing and their singing will inspire you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IGpdULugKo4
